To ensure you order the right size cork, please follow these steps:

1. Measure the inside diameter of the container's opening.
2. Select a cork that is slightly larger at the top than the opening and slightly smaller at the bottom.
3. For example, if the internal diameter of the opening measures 85mm, you will require a cork that measures 90 mm x 77 mm

Gifting a terrarium with live plants

As plants need water and light to thrive they'll need to be looked after. Once you receive your parcel, simply place the plants in indirect light and water them when the soil becomes dry. The plants can be wrapped before being gifted. As long as the plants are properly cared for, the terrarium can be made at any convenient time.

Lighting up a terrarium!

When I bought a Bonn terrarium for my granddaughter, LED cork lids were out of stock🙁However, they are available now and so I ordered one for her. She is delighted with it as it really shows off her plants. Whilst the LED is NOT a growth light, it does create a super view in the evenings. Using just two AAA batteries, it is safe and cost effective. Thanks to all at T G for their help in making oung Daisy’s terrarium even more attractive.

I knew this lid was a mm or so too small. Easily managed with a few circuits of tape. A 3 battery system and good LEDs make a real difference. Thanks

Cork Lid with LED light.

Delighted with the cork lid, it was just a bit too big for my terrarium but I managed to trip it down slightly. Bit fiddly but it now fits securely with piece of twine tied around rim to finish it off. The light gives a lovely warm glow and I now have the freedom to place it in different places without the worry of lighting.

Husband got a terrarium for Christmas with a standard cork lid, we wanted to upgrade to a lid with a light.
Perfect item, really show's the terrarium in it's full glory.

These really are a pro finish to your terrarium. I bought dufacell re chargeable for the batteries but alas they only last a couple of hours! Anybody got a better solution? USB would have been better.
