I bought a medium DIY kit to re-do my terrarium. The plants and accessories are of very good quality.
As you can see, it looks wonderful.
The quality of this glass jar is excellent. I have previously bought starter kits and although I didn't need one this time they are a great way to put together a terrarium.

I don't have much luck with plants, so fingers crossed this might work for me. I found it very easy to set up only taking me about an hour, somehow i managed not to rush it. I will admit that it was quite therapeutic to do it. I've now had it about a week and a bit and i have noticed i am starting to get a bit of condensation on the inside of the bottle, so i must of done something right. Fingers crossed it continues, and hopefully blooms nicely. If it does then there is a chance i might buy another one. The instructions are pretty easy to follow, along with the YouTube video, take your time, rewind if necessary and you will get there.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend as he’d been wanting to make one for ages. It was easy enough to assemble and he really enjoyed making it and arranging it how he wanted. The only downside is the lack of instructions regarding the grow light. The box it comes in appears to be written in Japanese and googling the make doesn’t bring up any results. So we’re not exactly sure what the light settings do and how long we should be leaving it on for each day?
I have reached out to say that the light fitting does not work - currently waiting on a solution back from you, allowing for the festive season. Thanks
Fantastic customer service from Katie before I decided what to purchase. Item arrived well packaged, all recyclable, and plants were in great condition. Was purchased to gift as a Christmas present and the recipient loved it. Would recommend and would definitely buy from Tropical Glass again in the future.
We really love this kit, but it's frustrating not having any instructions for the lights. They seem to have some kind of timer, we just haven't figured that out yet.
Despite the lack of instructions, we love this kit enough that we've ordered two more!
Purchased this for my Son who has an interest in this subject. He is very impressed with the quality of the glass bowl and the plants. Now for the down and very much up side. The first package we received glass was broken due to poor packaging. Now to the up side, I contacted Tropical Glass who were absolutely superb, they despatched a replacement within a day. This time it was packed brilliantly. I can’t thank Tropical Glass enough for their excellent service.
