We always give plants mentioned in the description but occasionally, due to availability, we may replace a plant with a different one. All plants are unique and so may not appear exactly like in the photos but will be of a similar size and variety. Plant colours may differ from the ones in the photo. Decorative pebbles may be in a different colour than in the photo, depending on availability.

Gifting a terrarium with live plants

As plants need water and light to thrive they'll need to be looked after. Once you receive your parcel, simply place the plants in indirect light and water them when the soil becomes dry. The plants can be wrapped before being gifted. As long as the plants are properly cared for, the terrarium can be made at any convenient time.

Great product and service

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. It’s exactly as described on the website, all the materials including plants are good quality. Everything was well packaged apart from a small tear in one packet which allowed fine sand to leak out. I emailed the company on the day it arrived, they were very quick to reply and promptly sent out a replacement packet of sand. Great product and service, would highly recommend this company.

Great kit

I purchased and made the Prague kit 1 month ago and it is doing very well.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting it together and have had loads of compliments. I have since ordered further domes and made the terrariums as presents.

As yet I have not had to water the plants as there was enough moisture in
the moss to set the eco system going.

In 1 month it grew so fast

This terrarium has the perfect environment for the asparagus fern (humidity), that in one month, it grew so fast, it has out grown its home. I have to put some spacers on the base of the dome to make it taller. And both Fittonia and moss are also very happy. I open the lid twice a day to circulate the air, to stop the mould growing in the tarrarium.

I absolutely love this

I absolutely love this little piece of indoor garden which sits on my coffee table. It was therapeutic to put together - using the excellent instructions and everything you need to plant it. This design means that you don't have to fiddle with tweezers etc. to plant it, and after a couple of weeks I still have not had to intervene - it just looks after itself! Fabulous!

Wonderful kit well put together

Wanting a terrarium I couldn’t be happier with the Prague kit. Everything presented wonderfully. Packed very well, came home from a long day at work and chilled for an hour putting it together. Now the wait to see if location is suitable. Plants very healthy. I’ll be buying from Tropical glass again. If you’re thinking of buying a terrarium you’ve found the right online seller. You won’t be disappointed.
