Our signature terrarium soil mix for closed terrariums. This is the same substrate we use in our Tropical Glass terrariums, created to support healthy root growth in a humid, closed environment.

Our mix is aerated, nutrient-rich and well-draining, helping to prevent compacted soil and keeping your terrarium balanced over time. It is ideal for most closed terrariums and works beautifully for houseplants too.

As plants need water and light to thrive they'll need to be looked after. Once you receive your parcel, simply place the plants in indirect light and water them when the soil becomes dry. The plants can be wrapped before being gifted. As long as the plants are properly cared for, the terrarium can be made at any convenient time.
